Bah! The next time you suggest to someone that they use DuckDuckGo for privacy, be sure to mention that DDG also decides what is misinformation, and uses that to determine what you see in your search results. See the [[https://snork.ca/posts/2022-03-10-fuckfuckno-part-ii/|snork.ca post]]. Seriously, DuckDuckGo may not be the search engine savior a lot of people think it is.

Having had an opportunity to think about this, I'd say that DuckDuckGo is actually a great search engine as long as both of the following statements are true for you:

1. You do not want to hear opinions that differ from yours and

2. You always agree with Gabriel Weinberg's opinions about everything

Are they?
